Sam Smith confirmed for Orange Warsaw festival 2023

Since its inception, in the last 13 years, the festival has changed its space and form, but its goal is to guarantee music fans a cultural event at the highest world level. The first confirmed artist perfectly fit into this narrative – SAM SMITH declares that Orange Warsaw is in the best possible form!

Sam’s upcoming 13-track record, Gloria will be his boldest statement yet and comes off the back of the huge success of lead single, Unholy, the mega-hit featuring Kim Petras has surpassed 400 million Spotify streams and remained on top of the Spotify and Apple Music global charts since the day of release making it Sam’s eighth number 1 smash.

Since his No.1 debut album In The Lonely Hour (2014), SAM SMITH has amassed a constellation of glittering achievements: 35 million albums sold, 250 million singles, 45 billion multi-platform streams, four Grammys, three BRITs, six MOBOs, a Golden Globe, one Oscar, two No.1 albums, five No.1 singles, two No.1 singles as featured vocalist on club bangers from Naughty Boy (‘La La La’, 2013) and Calvin Harris (‘Promises’).

But Gloria is a different kind of achievement, which isn’t playing the numbers game. It’s the dazzling, sumptuous, sophisticated, unexpected and at times thrillingly edgy sound of Sam Smith’s creative heart today. “There’s a huge female influence on Gloria,” says Smith. Dominating TikTok, Sam is currently among just three artists to make their debut at # 1 in the official UK charts this year. Currently, he remain on the podium for the second month.

I am very happy that we are starting the Orange Warsaw Festival announcements with Sam Smith. This is their first announced festival performance in 2023! Great and much awaited artist, whose concerts are always an extraordinary experience and spectacle. Sam’s new album is ahead of us, and right now their new hit “Unholy” is the most streamed song in the world!
