For the first time in Standon Calling’s 15 year history, they will be a Main Stage Thursday headliner… MADNESS!

Joining Madness on Thursday are GABRIELLE, THE SUBWAYS, THE SKINTS, NADIA ROSE, KING CHARLES and LUCY BLUE.

You can also expect some serious partying with THE CUBAN BROTHERS, CRAIG CHARLES FUNK & SOUL CLUB, CLUB DE FROMAGE and UNCLE FUNK’S DISCO INFERNO.

MADNESS and their music have left their mark on British pop culture in a big way through their poetry in everyday reality and their catchy, iconic tunes. They’ll no doubt bring an electric energy as the first ever Thursday Main Stage headliner.

Upbeat nostalgia is on the menu with GABRIELLE and her catalogue of uplifting melodies from ‘Dreams’, ‘Rise’, ‘Out Of Reach’ and ‘Sunshine’. Organisers can’t wait to welcome her for her Standon Calling debut.

High spirited, alt rock band from Hertfordshire THE SUBWAYS formed in their teens and proceeded to have 4 studio albums and multiple EP’s. Their latest single ‘Fight’ released earlier this year has the same infectious energy as their earlier work.

London four-piece THE SKINTS have come from the depths of the underground punk / ska scene to being a unique fixture on the global reggae stage. Drawing on a wide range of influences, their “Hard-hitting lyrics and sunny, feel good grooves” (The Guardian) will have the crowd skanking along with them.

Rapper and songwriter NADIA ROSE is no stranger to Standon Calling. Making her Main Stage debut back in 2017, she’s gone from strength to strength frequently dropping new material and some top collaborations with the likes of Thai Chi Rosè, JY MNTL & La Swave.

THE CUBAN BROTHERS need no introduction. They’ll be kicking off Standon Calling 2022 in style with the kind of sillyness that will have you in stitches.

Standon Calling also welcomes CRAIG CHARLES FUNK & SOUL CLUB, CLUB DE FROMAGE and UNCLE FUNK’S DISCO INFERNO for a night of movin’ and groovin’ that will be sure to blow away any cobwebs!
