Open’er Festival powered by Orange 2022 is not slowing down! The already powerful line-up is joined by YEARS & YEARS – a unique project by the charismatic Olly Alexander and ROYAL BLOOD – one of the most important rock bands of the decade. Artists announced so far include DUA LIPA, IMAGINE DRAGONS, TWENTY ONE PILOTS, MARTIN GARRIX, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, JESSIE WARE, CIGARETTES AFTER SEX and MICHAEL KIWANUKA. 6 years after the release of YEARS & YEARS debut, Olly Alexander is considered one of the most modern contemporary pop artists. With two great albums, he received 6 BRIT Awards nominations and sold out international tours. In the course of this artistic path, he has also become a generational voice in the most important discussions on mental health and sexual minorities.
YEARS & YEARS music, which has had nearly 4.5 billion streams to date, is a perfect, refreshing mix of pop, R&B and electronic music. And by questioning the common perception of identity and sexuality, the project’s creativity widens the boundaries of social consciousness. The premiere of the third album “Night Call” is scheduled for January 2022. The release will be the first album of Years & Years as a solo project by Olly Alexander.

After a personal debut (2014) and “How Did We Get So Dark?” (2017), “Typhoons” released this year, became the third ROYAL BLOOD album in a row to hit the top of the UK charts, also landing in the top ten in the US, Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Today, the group has, among others, the BRIT Award for the best British group, a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Prize and over 2 million records sold.
Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher continue their path, which with each new step strengthens their status as one of the most important rock bands of the last decade. At the same time, they are praised for the fact that by adding still fresh elements to their work, they do not lose their original energy, which at the very beginning of the road gathered extremely committed fans around them.
