These boys from stylish London do not just look at their indie look – their indie sound also delights our ears. WHITE LIES have provided their alternative music style with the perfect pinch of post-punk revival. For a good ten years, they have been playing their New Wave-influenced post-punk. No, actually longer, because singer and guitarist Harry McVeigh, bassist Charles Cave and drummer and keyboarder Jack Lawrence-Brown already know each other from school. Today they are known for their intense, sprawling shows and crazy music videos. At the DEICHBRAND you get these crazy guys on the silver tray: So reserve a ticket and treat yourself to this special tasting – including proven guitar riffs and synth sounds.

The Russian polka steamroller rolls over Europe with its high-speed turbo polka. Whether world music, mainstream, indie or metal – the power of RUSSKAJA knows no musical boundaries.

The sound of the band was inspired by traditional Russian music and mixes it with ska, rock and polka-cheats. Any fan of the band, whether alternative, hippie or metal turns off the band hit “Psycho Traktor” and to understand the band, you have to not even Russian can: “PEACE, LOVE & RUSSIAN ROLL” is at Russkaja program.
