Volbeat, Shinedown, Black Veil Brides, A Day To Remember & 16 more new bands added to Download Festival 2022

Download Festival UK 2022 just got bigger – Say hello to: A DAY TO REMEMBER, VOLBEAT, SHINEDOWN, BLACK VEIL BRIDES, BURY TOMORROW and more!

Pop-punk heroes A DAY TO REMEMBER will be storming the Main Stage on Friday. Having released their long awaited seventh album ‘You’re Welcome’ back in March, it’s looking like a big year for the band. Get ready to get your pogo on.

The Great Danes of VOLBEAT will be bringing their rockabilly riffs and high voltage live show to the Main Stage on Sunday. Expect to hear tracks from last year’s ‘Rewind, Replay, Rebound’, which scored them a top 10 in the UK album charts.

Saturday’s Main Stage will play host to multi-platinum selling Floridians SHINEDOWN. Fun fact: they’ve had more number ones on the Billboard Rock chart than any other band, so it’s sure to be a hit packed set. Theatrical rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES will take the Main Stage on Friday, where Southampton’s BURY TOMORROW will also be flying the flag for UK metal.

The mighty MASTODON are coming to the Second Stage on Saturday! The prog metal legends are sure to put on an awesome show.

Download has got a real treat for fans of Alter Bridge frontman MYLES KENNEDY. He’ll be bringing his live show to the Second Stage on Friday – PLUS he’ll headline the Dogtooth tent on Sunday night for a very special acoustic set!

If hardcore is your thing, don’t miss CODE ORANGE on Saturday – Reba Myers’ vocals will have you ready to throw down. Plus, BARONESS will be bringing you more of that heavy metal goodness on Sunday.

ICE NINE KILLS, MALEVOLENCE and CASSYETTE will also play the Second Stage on Saturday.

CREEPER fans won’t want to miss their set on the Avalanche Stage on Saturday. Expect to hear tracks from their awesome new album ‘American Noir’. Need your death metal fix?  OBITUARY have you covered on Saturday at the Dogtooth Stage. Get practicing those pit moves.
