Since they made themselves known 20 years ago with their debut album – Un día en el mundo (2008) – VETUSTA MORLA has continued to grow to become one of the most important national groups of recent times. The sextet of Tres Cantos (Madrid) is a benchmark for the rise of live music in Spain thanks to the strength of its sound, the precision of its interpretation and its communion with the public, as demonstrated at Mad Cool 2016.

With two Platinum albums, three Gold albums and three Latin Grammy nominations, 2018 has been a big year for VETUSTA MORLA thanks to their album Mismo Sitio, Distinto Lugar, being the first Spanish band of its kind able to gather 38,000 people in a concert of its own, held on June 23rd in the esplanade of the Caja Mágica in Madrid. A concert awarded with the National Waves of Music Award in the category of “Best show, tour or festival”.
