American rockers VAMPIRE WEEKEND are the latest band to be added to the Mad Cool Festival line up in Madrid, Spain next summer. They join the already announced The Cure, The National and The 1975!

VAMPIRE WEEKEND are from New York City and formed in 2006. The band was formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Ezra Koenig, multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer Chris Tomson, and bassist Chris Baio.
