KISS, one of the most famous rock bands in the world, will arrive at Rockfest next June.  KISS’s performance is part of their extensive End of the Road trail, so it’s the band’s last visit to Finland. In addition to KISS, Rockfest also announces another major artist today, as the legendary DEF LEPPARD will also become the main event of the festival. Both bands will be shown at Rockfest on Sunday, June 9th.

Rockfest is at the same time becoming the very rock event of the whole summer in Finland. SLIPKNOT and DISTURBED have already been announced and in addition, RAINBOW, led by Ritchie Blackmore, arrives at Hyvinkää Airport a day before Rockfest on Thursday, June 6.

KISS is a band named in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and its records have sold more than a hundred million worldwide.

Everything we have accomplished our career has been the cause of our millions of fans. Without them we would not have anything. Without them, we would not have filled clubs, arenas and stadiums for the most part of these years. Now, we’re all looking forward to seeing you last time

The British band DEF LEPPARD, founded in 1977, was last seen in Finland by the South Parkers in 2015. The band has had the same line since 1992. This legendary group includes Joe Elliott (vocals), Rick Savage (bass, Rick Allen (drums), Phil Collen (guitar) and Vivian Campbell (guitar).
