UK Rock Band Foals confirmed for Rock in Roma 2020

FOALS are an English band that started life in Oxford in 2005. “Antidotes” is the title of their debut album, produced by Dave Sitek, a member of TV on The Radio and producer of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The disc immediately achieved great success in the UK and ranks at # 3 on the UK Album Chart.

The band released their second album in 2010 called “Total Life Forever” and received a nomination for the 2010 Mercury Prize, while the single “Spanish Sahara” was recognised as the best song at the NME Awards in 2011.

“Holy Fire” is the title of the third album anticipated by the single “Inhaler”, awarded as best song at the NME Awards in 2013 and followed in 2015 by the fourth album “What Went Down”, immediately at # 3 on the UK Album Chart and awarded as best album at the 2014 NME Awards.

The FOALS received their first British Awards nomination in 2016 for the best British band. In 2019 they return with two albums: “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1” released in March and winner of the “Best Album” award at the Q Awards and “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 2” released in October.

“Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost” was greeted with great enthusiasm by critics and fans and the individual excerpts conquered the radio charts. “Part 1” debuted in second place on the UK album chart and earned the band a Mercury Prize Award nomination, while “Part 2” debuted in first position on the same chart.
