UK festival Tramlines reveals first wave of acts for 2018!

The weekend’s festivities kick off in style with a headline performance on Friday STEREOPHONICS, with a reputation as one of the best live bands in Britain, opening night promises to be party night.

NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS top the bill on Saturday night, headlining the biggest Indie line up ever seen on a Tramlines stage. ready yourself for singing some of the most iconic guitar tunes ever penned…

Sunday’s closing party will be headlined by CRAIG DAVID’S TS5 – expect a mash up of his old and new stuff and some massive garage vibes.

The first announcement is about more than the headliners though. Indie heads? We’ve got you covered, from Local legend’s REVEREND AND THE MAKERS and THE SHERLOCKS to Stockport 4 piece BLOSSOMS and JAKE BUGG. With a heap of emerging talent  in the form of MAGIC GANG, PALE WAVES & GENGHAR.

Fancying something outside of the guitar bands? Well fear not, previous guests and Hip Hop Legends DE LA SOUL are back by popular demand. Their most recent album had rave reviews and critical acclaim and we can’t wait to see them perform.

STEFFLON DON, one of the biggest UK rappers on the scene joins us on Saturday along side MABEL, daughter of Neneh Cherry and pop star in her own right and up and comer NAAZ with her mix of hip hop and pop.

This year as  Tramlines celebrate their Tenth edition they also celebrate the local talent that Sheffield has to offer with BANG BANG ROMEO, PATAWAWA, THE SEAMONSTERS and WULFMAN FURY
