The countdown to Mad Cool Festival 2020 has begun. TAYLOR SWIFT, BILLIE EILISH, PIXIES, TWENTY ONE PILOTS, ALT-J AND TOVE LO are the first six names of the poster of the 5th Anniversary of the Madrid Festival, a cross-sectional and inimitable Line Up that bets on talent in all its expressions and quality musical on the 9th – 11th of July at the Valdebebas site.

Superstar TAYLOR SWIFT will offer her first concert in Spain after an absence of nine years and will do so as headliner of Mad Cool 2020. At 29, this singer, songwriter and producer is one of the most influential and respected artists of our era. With millions of albums sold, hundreds of prizes and an endless list of hits, TAYLOR SWIFT is a true whirlwind and Mad Cool 2020 will be the opportunity to enjoy its spectacular staging exclusively.
 
The second major confirmation of Mad Cool 2020 is the global phenomenon BILLIE EILISH. At only 17 years old, this young woman has broken all records. The American singer and songwriter has managed to connect with a whole generation thanks to her style, as un-classifiable as enigmatic. The star of the moment will offer in this Festival his only concert in our country during 2020.
 
Meanwhile, TWENTY ONE PILOTS surprised the world with the publication of “Blurryface” (2015), an album that sold 7 million copies and earned the duo its first Grammy award. Three years later, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun would return with “Trench” (2018), consolidating as one of the biggest bands of the moment. And yes, also exclusively in Spain thanks to Mad Cool Festival.
 
But not only current sounds nurtures the Mad Cool 2020 poster: the mythical PIXIES join the party. The Black Francis band, Joey Santiago and David Lovering (with the recent addition of Paz Lenchantin) are one of the most influential formations in rock history. Its sound, brand of the house, has been the pillar on which the indie, grunge and alternative rock of the last 40 years have been based and its legacy can be traced in formations such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam or Smashing Pumpkins. Mad Cool Festival will provide the only opportunity to see them in Spain.
 
Mad Cool Festival will also be the appointment of the year with the Spanish public for ALT-J. The British trio formed by Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Thom Green will once again make the Madrid public vibrate as he did, precisely three years ago, at the hands of Mad Cool. With three albums to his credit – “An Awesome Wave” (2012), “This is all yours” (2014) and “Relaxer” (2017), the group has earned the respect of critics and the affection of the public With his peculiar proposal.
 
And to complete this announcement, Swedish singer and songwriter TOVE LO, an artist with a unique sound of electronic rhythms, catchy melodies and confessional lyrics.
