Suede confirmed for Tomavistas festival 2020 in Madrid

SUEDE published their eighth studio album entitled “The Blue Hour” at the end of 2018. Produced and mixed by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios, “The Blue Hour” is the follow-up of the acclaimed LP of the 2016’s top 10, “Night Thoughts”, and we could say that it is the final part of the triptych of albums recorded by the band since their comeback and they released “Bloodsports” in 2013.

This is a five-year-period in which the band has been keeping active enlarging and updating their myth with a powerful live performance and perpetuating one of the most solid and exciting careers of the British bands that were born and created a generation (beyond the manic label of Brit Pop) which marked one of the most glorious ages of world music, especially with the publication of their first self-titled album back in 1993.

Brett Anderson and the rest of the band have been able to demonstrate that a band can stay on top releasing new excellent songs while keeping their large collection of hits (“Animal Nitrate”, “The Wild Ones”, “So Young” or “Metal Mickey”, just to name a few), but renewed and more intense. All this makes that their live performances are currently ones of the strongest and most exciting in the international scene.

Organisers are very happy to have SUEDE at Tomavistas five years after their last visit to Madrid with a concert that will be their only appearance at a festival in Spain in 2020 and one of the few in Europe closing a cycle that has led them to be headliners at festivals such as Primavera Sound, BBK Live or Paredes de Coura in 2019.
