Rae Sremmurd, Kaytranada, Solomun and 23 new names confirmed for Dour Festival!

2018 concluded with the promise of great announcements at the start of the new year. A promise is a promise. Following the confirmation of Damso, number 1 in French-speaking rap, bringing us an exclusive concert in Belgium on Saturday 13 July in Dour, 2019 begins with a burst of good news. 26 new names, and no small ones, are added to the line-up.

Let’s meet on the Last Arena with the Californian hip hop duo RAE SREMMURD, who has been working with the most talented and greatest.

If there was one artist we wanted to invite to Dour this summer at all costs, it was SHECK WES. At the age of 20, the kid put everyone on the same page with his anthem “Mo Bamba”.

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Manchester’s unavoidable hip hop diva IAMDDB or the return of the Canadian-Haïtian producer KAYTRANADA, whose universal sound is intertwined with soul-funk, electro-house, groovy and hip hop, which he made his signature.

In terms of house and techno, the line-up adds the Bordeaux DJ and dancefloor spinner ANETHA as well as DIMA live (aka Vitalic), the composer and multi-awarded DJ with a bottomless discography SOLOMUN and PAULA TEMPLE‘S powerful techno, an artist committed to the female and transgender cause. But don’t forget RICHIE HAWTIN, one of the most dashing veterans of the international electronic scene and his new live CLOSE, the French I HATE MODELS, the Italian duo TALE OF US and the Danish superstar DJ KÖLSCH (dj set).

The hip hop line-up is expanding with ALPHA WANN, a distinguished member of the French rap collective L’Entourage, the American TRIPPIE REDD, YOUSSOUPHA and his peculiar phrasing and JOEY PURP, the latest US rap prodigy.

As always, Dour Festival puts the spotlight on indie bands with the arrival of Manchester’s GOGO PENGUIN and their fusion of jazz, electronica and classical music, the house of the Irish duo BICEP (dj set), the psyched, electric music, sometimes bluesy or influenced by gospel rock by CURTIS HARDING. DAVID AUGUST‘S live performance – leased by Resident Advisor – is not to be missed next summer nor the magnetic singer JORDAN RAKEI, the brilliant FLAVIEN BERGER and GEORGE FITZGERALD‘S house and garage mixture.

Finally, for drum’n’bass and dubstep fans we offer a beautiful line-up with the return of the boss PENDULUM (dj set), the young rookie from Los Angeles SLUSHII and the living legend of the drum’n’bass world DJ MARKY (+ MC GQ).
