Pusha T, Mura Masa, The Vaccines join the Home Festival Venice line up!

The Carnival ends and Home Festival Venice comes alive.

After the invasion of Venice by masks and music lovers who admired the shows in Piazza San Marco, now the attention for those who love the great events in the lagoon turns to San Giuliano, where from July 12 to 14 Home Festival Venice takes off, the most anticipated event of the Italian Festival summer.

After nine years in Treviso, the international festival model celebrates its tenth anniversary in Venice. That the wait is very strong is denoted by tens of thousands of likes, comments and shares on social networks after the announcement of the first four artists: PAUL KALKBRENNER, LP, EDITORS and YOUNG THUG. But not only that, there has also been a surge in the sale of tickets online, many of which from abroad, have already taken advantage of discounts for the first “early bird” sales period that will be valid until next 12 March.

Home Festival Venice aims to draw a direction with a young and fresh line-up, in step with the biggest international festivals, from Primavera Sound to the Flow Festival to Coachella. The artistic cut is completely renewed and is ready to set the trend. But now organisers come to the next guests, they grow the line up and go on stage: PUSHA T, MURA MASA and THE VACCINES.

Friday, July 12 is the indie rock band THE VACCINES to unleash the people of Home Festival Venice. On their fourth album Combat Sports, released in May 2018, THE VACCINES put aside the experimental pop of the past and focus on the elements that had led them to climb the charts with their debut album in 2010: guitars, speed, concreteness and refrains that hook you and do not give up anymore.

Combat Sports is the sound of THE VACCINES returning to be the Vaccines, the sound of one of the most important English rock’n’roll band of the last generation at its peak.

We rediscovered who we were and what kind of band we wanted to be. We wanted to make a record that confirmed the kind of idea and sound that we had in mind. We wanted to make our best record of all time

Justin Young – singer and guitarist

Saturday, July 13, the world rap scene arrives with PUSHA T, the US rapper originally from the Bronx. His career began in 2010 singing with his brother, then as usual, he reached his first studio album “My Name Is My Name”, which reached the fourth position of the Billboard 200. PUSHA T decrees its position becoming apostle of Kanye and becoming part of the GOOD stable Music, West becomes a patron and promoter, including participation in the masterpiece “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” as a baptism and blessing. Between 2011 and 2014 he started important artistic collaborations with, among others, Pixie Lott, Tyler, The Creator, Kanye West, Future, Rick Ross and Chris Brown. Last year, “King Pusha” is named best rapper of 2018 and returns with his third album “Daytona”, entirely produced by the famous Kanye West.

Finally, on Sunday 14 July, the young electronic producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Alex Crossan, aka MURA MASA, amazed himself at just twenty-one years old and is already one of the most listed electronic producers in Great Britain. Born and raised in Guernsey, an island in the English Channel, MURA MASA, in 2014, after sharing the “Soundtrack to a Death” mixtape online, he was noticed by the record company and signed with Polydor, and then released his debut EP “Someday Somewhere “, containing” Lovesick “, which reached number one in Spotify’s viral ranking. His single “What If I Go”, with the Dublin singer Bonzai, has anticipated the debut album “Mura Masa” released in 2017, in which stand out the prestigious collaborations of Damon Albarn, Christine and the Queens and A$AP Rocky.

If the good morning is seen from the morning, it will be a great debut edition for our Home Venice. We are working to define all the details of the area. We will create a new home, we want to make a dream come true to the Homies who want to spend a magical weekend with us in Venice. A weekend made of music, art and culture of international level in the most beautiful city in the world, a unique and indelible experience, of those from “one in a lifetime”. We can not wait for it to be July, we can not wait to go back home. It will be wonderful!
