Positivus Festival returns with A$AP Rocky, Megan Thee Stallion, Jamie XX, Caribou and More

On 15th and 16th July Positivus Festival will return, taking place in a new location in the capital city Riga. Established in 2007, Positivus is the biggest and one of the most popular music and arts festivals in the Baltic region and after 13 unforgettable years in Salacgriva, the new location in Lucavsala park will offer the beautiful scenery of Riga alongside the Daugava river, giving the opportunity to combine a festival with a city break for an unforgettable experience.

The Positivus Festival 2022 lineup features an eclectic selection of local and international artists including A$AP ROCKY, MEGAN THEE STALLION, JAMIE XX, CARIBOU, THUNDERCAT, YVES TUMOR & ITS BAND, BLACK MIDI, BLACK COUNTRY, NEW ROAD, THE AVALANCHES (DJ Set) and many more. Latvia also has a thriving rap and hip-hop scene with some of the best artists being showcased at this year’s event including; ARTURS SKUTELIS, ANSIS, EDAVĀRDI, PRUSAX and more.

As well as enjoying the festival, visitors will get a chance to explore Latvian capital. From the street food stalls, restaurants & bars in the Tallinas and Adrejostas quarters to sampling craft beers, admiring street art, relaxing on the beaches by the river Daugava, or wandering around the picturesque Old town Vecrīga, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Riga is a star attraction.

Positivus festival is the largest popular music and arts festival in the Baltics. It’s been going since 2007 bringing together up to 30,000 local and international music lovers every festival year. Over its 13 editions, the festival has presented a total of several hundred famous musicians of different generations, including global stars, such as Muse, Nick Cave, Robert Plant, Iggy Pop, Ellie Goulding, The xx, Sigur Rós, Sinéad O’Connor. Positivus festival has received praise from the international media and been nominated for various European festival awards.
