The PET SHOP BOYS (Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe) are the most successful duo in British music history. Since signing with Parlophone Records in 1985, they have achieved 42 Top 30 singles in the UK including 22 Top 10 hits and four top spots. They have released 13 studio albums, all of which have topped the UK Albums chart as well as album charts worldwide.
In their live shows, the PET SHOP BOYS over the past 30 years have created an original and influential mix of pop concert and musical theatre in collaboration with directors, designers and artists such as Derek Jarman, David Alden and David Fielding from the English Opera, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood and Es Devlin.
Their career has perpetually shown that pop music and high art can not only co-exist but surpass supposedly superior musical forms.
