PAUL WELLER, an eclectic talent of one of the main representatives of MOD culture, who started with punk, went through acid jazz to go solo towards new sounds, boundless in pop, folk, soul and even in electronics. This incredible ability to experiment emerges in Weller’s thriving discography, which since 1992 he has released fourteen studio albums, the latest of which, True Meanings (Parlophone Records), was released in 2018.
British singer, guitarist and composer, PAUL WELLER is a real institution in his homeland, most of the lyrics of his songs are inspired by English culture. The record debut took place in 1977 with the publication of In The City (Polydor Records) with The Jam, the band of which he was the frontman and with whom he reached the top of the British charts several times. In 1982 he founded the Style Council together with keyboardist Mick Talbot, in order to explore the boundaries of acid jazz. Once this experience was over, PAUL WELLER started his solo career, punctuated by success after success, both for the public and critics.
