New Order to headline Low Festival 2019 in Spain

The British band tops a poster for which FOALS, BASTILLE and VETUSTA MORLA have already been confirmed!

In its eleventh year of life, Low Festival finally fulfills one of the dreams of its organisation: NEW ORDER will headline the next edition of the Benidorm festival, which will be held from July 26th to 28th, as always, at the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor.

No need to introduce NEW ORDER, a band that is a true legend of independent music. “Age Of Consent”, “Blue Monday”, “Crystal” or “Bizarre Love Triangle” are just some of the themes that have elevated them as kings in that of uniting the darkness of post-punk with the dance arrangements of synthpop or the dance-rock.

And, fortunately, it is one of those myths that has managed to maintain its validity over the years. Their latest studio album, “Music Complete” (Mute, 2015) was described by the press as one of the best albums of his career, containing his closest-and accurate-approach to the dance floor in decades. “Restless”, “Plastic” or “Tutti Frutti” are since then some of the most celebrated themes by their followers in their live shows.

The show of NEW ORDER in Low Festival promises to be at the height of those magical moments offered in previous years by artists such as Pixies, Portishead or The Chemical Brothers.
