Metronomy, Death Grips, Fat White Family and more added to Dour Festival!

Time to unveil a new burst of artists today in order to please the indie and guitar fans.

Let’s start with METRONOMY’S strong comeback who just released Nights Out’s  deluxe version to celebrate its 10th anniversary! Expect a beautiful moment on the Last Arena.

Then, DEATH GRIPS will perform on “La Petite Maison dans La Prairie” stage. The Americans, coming straight from Sacramento, will make you roar with their punk rap.

We are excited to announce FAT WHITE FAMILY’S return, known for its cataclysmic rock and its crazy concerts. The Londoners are back with a new album more electro. Glamrock, electro-funk and Gregorian hymns will resonate together.

Dour Festival also stands for the highlighting of emerging Belgian acts. This summer, we will welcome BLACK MIRRORS who will be bringing its garage rock along; one of the Belgian pop queens CLAIRE LAFFUT; the Brussels jazz quartet COMMANDER SPOON and GLAUQUE, one of the most beautiful discoveries of this year; the frenetic energy of LA JUNGLE; LENNY PISTOL’S lo-fi music as well as MARTHA DA’RO, MONTEVIDEO, OZFERTI, PHOENICIAN DRIVE, SAUDADE, SONNFJORD and THE BRUMS.

More guitars are added to the lineup with the American YONATAN GAT, an outstanding composer and guitarist. He is known for his crossover improvisations that bring together avantgarde jazz and psychedelic rock. Our French neighbours also have plenty for us : MNNQNS will bring along its majestuous post-punk and RENDEZ VOUS will be back to strike hard with Superior State, its first apocalyptic post-punk album.

Don’t miss NAKHANE’S show on Sunday 14th of July on “La Petite Maison dans La Prairie” stage. After a first critically acclaimed album, the London-based South African has set the tone once again with the magnificent You Will Not Die, a mix of modern and hybrid soul to die for. With his crystal clear voice, his glamorous shows, his ancestral gospel and his electro queer, you will attend the performance of a multi talented and exceptional artist.

Travel across the Atlantic Ocean in direction of Quebec, heading straight to the young and talented HUBERT LENOIR. His latest album Darlène is a magnificent post-modern opera about the coming of age of a generation.

Sunday evening, “Le Labo” stage will be transformed into an invitation to shine and dance. The closing night will be presented by the Quebec collective Moonshine featuring its residents; PIERRE KWENDERS, BAMBII & THE VJ BOYCOTT!

Already a reference in the Canadian world of after parties and electronic music, the crew celebrates a broad range of Afro-futuristic talents with heavy basses and electro-funk. They will share the stage with the Ugandan artist KAMPIRE and KIDDY SMILE, leader of the French fashion scene. He will turn “Le Labo” upside down with live house queer, 90’s beats and a fluorescent universe.
