It will be METALLICA, the highly anticipated group that will take the stage of the Visarno Arena on the fourth day of FIRENZE ROCKS, Sunday 19th June 2022!

After GREEN DAY, who were confirmed as the headliner of the opening day of 16th June 2022, and MUSE on the second day of the festival on Friday 17th June, it will be the American heavy metal band led by James Hetfield to tread one of the most important and prestigious stages in Italy!

METALLICA recently launched signals through their social networks about a possible special reissue of the 1991 Metallica album that changed the sound of American rock by bringing metal into the mainstream and entered history under the name of The Black Album. An untitled black cover, with only the band logo, twelve songs and sixteen million copies sold in America, debuting in first place in ten other countries in the world.

The band made up of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo shared a video of Wherever I May Roam during a Black Album tour concert in San Diego in 1992, accompanied by the first verse: “And the road became my bride “. The curiosity of fans was sparked by two hashtags, #BlackAlbum2021 and #ComingThisFall (coming next fall), the latter was then removed.
