Larmer Tree Festival announces 30th Anniversary line up!

The wait is finally over, and organisers could not be more excited to reveal who will be providing the soundtrack to their 30th anniversary bash. Feast your eyes on this lot!

Boasting a back-catalogue packed with crowd-pleasing anthems such as “Laid”, “Sit Down” and “She’s A Star”, JAMES are ready to set the Main Stage alight with their Larmer Tree debut. Expect tunes old and new, and prepare to sing-along to the biggest anthems.

JACK SAVORETTI was, unfortunately, forced to cancel his headline show last year due to illness, but he’s back to make up for lost time at what he calls one of his favourite festivals. We can hardly wait to listen to his husky soulful voice under the big Larmer Tree skies, surrounded by friends, family and plenty of peacocks!

With a rabble-rousing punk-fuelled take on folk, we’re thrilled to welcome FRANK TURNER AND THE SLEEPING SOULS. Crafting songs as poetic as they are energising, he rose from an underground sensation to score four consecutive Top 5 albums. His most recent, last year’s No Man’s Land, told the often-overlooked stories of fascinating women of the past.

We’re thrilled to welcome queen of British soul and twice MOBO Award winner BEVERLEY KNIGHT, that will take us through hits such as “Come As You Are” and “Shoulda Woulda Coulda”. Plus, Leeds natives GENTLEMAN’S DUB CLUB come ready to bring the Festival into a frenzy with their upbeat ska beats, whilst highlife pioneers PAT THOMAS & KWASHIBU AREA BAND present their newest album Obiaa! to Larmer Tree following many glowing reviews.

Elsewhere a whole host of on-the-rise artists can be found. London based rock group THE BIG MOON will be shaking up the festival with material from their critically acclaimed album Walking Like We Do, whilst GIRL RAY will bring the perfect summer soundtrack to the gardens with their sun-kissed cocktail of pop and R&B.

KATY J PEARSON will offer timeless melodies and lyricism, blending old school country heartbreak with infectious pop hooks, and FRANC MOODY, built for festival fun with their energised and uplifting clash of modern disco, funk and soul, are sure to keep you dancing for the whole set.

The Village Inn stage is also filling up well with the return of the kings of cowpunk PRONGHORN, Dorset based multi-instrumentalist LOUISE JORDAN, Gypsy punkers BUFFO’S WAKE and many more. It’s going to be quite a party!
