The American rock band IMAGINE DRAGONS is the third headliner of the 51st edition of Pinkpop! The band will close the festival weekend on Sunday 19th June 2022. Organisers are also adding no less than 18 other acts to the bill, in addition to the previously confirmed METALLICA, PEARL JAM, TWENTY ONE PILOTS and NOTHING BUT THIEVES!

The festival on Friday will be expanded with the arrival of the symphonic metal band NIGHTWISH, which will be performing at Pinkpop for the first time under the baton of Floor Jansen. There is no shortage of Dutch input in any case, DANNY VERA, FROUKJE and Nu or Nooit winner ELLE HOLLIS make their debut at Pinkpop on this day. THE PRETTY RECKLESS provides extra guitar violence in Landgraaf.

On Saturday we welcome British rock duo ROYAL BLOOD, the reconfirmed American nu-metal greats of DEFTONES and the Australian masters of the sing-a-longs; CROWDED HOUSE. On this second day of the festival, the feet will get off the floor with a live set by The Belgian DJ LOST FREQUENCIES and RONNIE FLEX & THE FAM and the stage beasts FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES will undoubtedly break off the stage! And last but not least: Australian indie darling COURTNEY BARNETT.

For Sunday, the popular rock band QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE has confirmed its arrival. In addition, three acts will have their first at Pinkpop on this day: the legendary disco-funk producer NILE RODGERS & CHIC, the American post-punk band INTERPOL and with her fantastic album ‘Bitterzoet’ in her pocket, EEFJE DE VISSER is also coming to Landgraaf for the first time. Swedish pop singer ZARA LARSSON and Irish rock band INHALER also confirmed for this last day of the festival.
