Last but not least, we look forward to seeing you again with the Swiss shooting stars in the Metalcore heaven FINAL STORY!
Greenfield Festival will take place from June 11th to 13th and is proud to present more bands for the festival. Two bands are still outstanding: The two winners of the Greenfield Foundation Band Contest. So the program of the Greenfield Festival is complete.
The Greenfield Medieval Market will be presented at the campsite again this year. There are many different suppliers of jewelry and accessories about medieval dishes and drinks such as suckling pig, stews, mead, and much more … In addition, visitors can expect various activities and spectacles such as medieval music, fire spouts, jugglers, weapon smiths and warriors!
HAMMERFALL has stood for powerful, majestic and melodic heavy metal for more than 25 years. The unforgettable choruses, straightforward and heavy riffs, thundering drums, throbbing basses and excellent vocals will undoubtedly go down in history as metal anthems for eternity. The Swedish heavy metal giants released their new, eleventh album “Dominion” in 2019. THE HU is a band from Mongolia that combines heavy metal with traditional Mongolian instruments such as the Morin Khuur (horse head violin), Tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), Tumur Khuur (jaw harp), throat singing and the bombastic bass and drums of rock. Their first two videos went viral instantly, bringing the band over 50 million views.
Does DANKO JONES really need an introduction? The Canadian rock trio have carried garage rock to stadiums for the past 24 years and played stadium-style blues rock in a garage near you. DANKO JONES will once again mark the Greenfield Festival 2020 as the largest rock festival in Switzerland with a hot live show. Founded in 1998, the Los Angeles punk icons released a number of rough and powerful albums and EPs, including hits like “City of Angels” and “Drain the Blood”, before taking an early break and finally parting in 2006. After twelve years of radio silence, THE DISTILLERS returned in 2018 with new singles, in 2020 Brody Dalle & co. to Interlaken!
SPANISH LOVE SONGS – Sound bundles the energy of drunken bar shows with the immediacy of intimate lyrics from life. The five-piece punk band from Los Angeles presents songs on their two albums that deal with apathy and anxiety in their mid-twenties. With hymnic and haunting punk songs, they present a rousing work of art that not only celebrates great music, but also has depth. FINAL STORY were guests at the Greenfield Festival in 2016 when they won the band contest in Zurich, but a lot has happened in the past with the metalcore band from Aargau. FINAL STORY deliver goose bumps after the other, both on the record and on stage, as evidenced by the brand new album “Savaged Soul”.
