FLOGGING MOLLY is a celebration of life, good and bad where beer is flowing and we all inhabit a soul of an Irish rebel who loves the green color and we are all called “Patrick O’Brian”.
It’s a stunning live show that will devour everyone. It’s a great combination of instruments, especially the violin part of Bridget Regan that trembles in the heart, while legs stomp in the insane pace of this great party. Lyrics usually deal with topics such as Ireland and Irish history, alcohol, politics, love, death, or the Catholic Church.
FLOGGING MOLLY released a comeback album last year called Life Is Good, produced by Joe Chiccarelli (U2, the White Stripes, Beck), a Grammy Award winner. The album can be linked to a rough wake-up call, and as the frontman and singer Dave King harshly say, “We woke up and we won’t fall asleep anymore.”
The basis of nu metal and strong Czech lyrics – these are COCOTTE MINUTE! Zeller’s distinctive, raw atypical vocal paired with the music of a Jezkov Conservatory graduate – Czendal never losing his energy, aggressiveness, and imminence. The band covers the topics that are avoided by most of the Czech songwriters.
The album “Ritual, kmen a srdce a kmen” (Ritual, Tribe and Heart and Tribe), got them a prestigious award – Album of the year in Žebřík 2016 and a few months ago they just released new EP „Veď mě“ (Lead me) that have gotten great reviews. Those seven songs could be considered as the best pieces of their discography. Gentlemen of COCOTTE MINUTE made it even harder in comparison with the previous album. In short, we do have something to look forward to!
GOUGE AWAY are a hardcore punk band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. “Burnt Sugar” is their latest album, mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker) and produced by Jeremy Bolm of Touche Amore. With “Burnt Sugar” GOUGE AWAY dive into personal and social political subject matter without getting the bends on their way back to surface. Carrying an emotional vulnerability and honesty that few bands own in today’s music world.
