Trondheim Rocks 2019 first bands
When organisers started working with Trondheim Rocks in the Autumn of 2017, they had a hairy goal to create one of Norway’s largest rock festivals, in Trondheim! After the festivals debut and the dust settled, they realised that they had made it. With 36 000 visitors, 2 sold out days, 46000 Gallons of beer and 15 legendary concerts, their conclusion; this we will do again!

Trondheim Rocks is back at Dahls arena on the 27th – 29th June 2019. The festival has been extended to 3 days to be able to book more of the audiences’ favorite artistes and make the area bigger!

It’s not without reason that many are calling IGGY POP the godfather of punk – all Punk bands have either consciously or unconsciously borrowed a thing or two from him and his band the stooges. He is known as one of the most dynamic stage personalities through the ages. IGGY POP survived the 70’s punk and the 90’s grunge eras and has built himself a legendary career, a cult following that was also hailed by all generations of fans – IGGY POP live should be on your “must see”- list!

DUMDUM BOYS is one of Norway’s biggest rock bands and consists of members Prepple Houmb, Kjartan Kristiansen, Aslak Dørum and SUN JONSEN. On October 18th out of the blue they uploaded a video on their facebook page and announced that they would drop their first album in six years.

The Norwegian band GLUECIFER, re-emerged this year to play 4 Sold Out concerts in Oslo, the city where it all began in 1994. GLUECIFER was one of the key Symphonic Metal bands in Scandinavia sweeping across Europe in the 90’s.

WITHIN TEMPTATION, with lead singer Sharon den Adel in charge, is almost like Norway friends to rain. The band just played a concert in the capital, which sold out 8 months ahead, and has become the Netherlands’s largest music exports.

With a healthy dose of pop melted along with a heavy metalcore-inspired melodic death metal sound, Swedish band AMARANTHE have had great success, with more than 100 million streams on Spotify and over 60 million views on Youtube. In the autumn they release their 5th album “Helix”.

HALESTORM are a band that is so tight and polished with Izzy playing her fingers off, kneeling, waving her tongue as she shreds her guitar to pieces. Awesome!” said radio rock after HALESTORM’S sold-out concert in October – what more is there to be said?!

Tickets go in sale Wednesday 31st October at 09.00.
