The EDITORS will perform before THE CURE on June 16th 2019!

Firenze Rocks continues to surprise by unveiling the names of international superstars who will be on stage at the Visarno Arena in Florence in June.

Today festival organisers have announced that the EDITORS will play before THE CURE and SUM41 on the last day of the festival or Sunday, June 16th.

The EDITORS released their sixth studio album, ‘Violence’, last year. In describing the album Tom Smith used the word “brutal” not only to emphasise the aggressive title, but also the hard and enveloping sound. Violence in the record is not brutal end in itself but acts as a protective shield against the ugliness of the outside world. The album follows the publication of In Dream in 2015.

On stage from 13th to 16th June 2019 at the Visarno Arena in Florence, the festival, now in its third edition, is preparing to repeat the success of previous years that have seen more than 350,000 spectators come from all over the world and brought on stage the stars of the Guns ‘N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden and System of A Down.

In this edition, on the other hand, TOOL and THE SMASHING PUMPKINS will be on stage on June 13th, ED SHEERAN on the 14th and THE CURE on the 16th.
