GOJIRA, D-A-D (By Request), MASTODON, MESHUGGAH, DEVIN TOWNSEND, BAD RELIGION and many more bands from all corners of the world report ready for COPENHELL 2020.

With booming ticket sales and enormous popularity for year’s COPENHELL, organisers celebrate their success with that which everyone has been waiting for, a thunderous bombardment of new bands for this summer’s ultimate Danish rock and metal event! Copenhell is proud to present 23 exciting bands from all the hard and heavy music genres for all the lost souls that will step through the gates of hell this June.

Kicking off with a mighty trio of metal acts: GOJIRA delivered a stunning show of force when they obliterated COPENHELL completely with their awe-inspiring concert in 2015, and the extremely popular metal band will return this summer. MASTODON and MESHUGGAH fired heavy broadsides against the festival’s audience all the way back in 2012, and they will also return this year – hopefully with new material from their upcoming releases on their setlists. The metal maestro DEVIN TOWNSEND will also visit the festival for the very first time this summer with his wild and experimental music.

The Danish rock band D-A-D will hit COPENHELL with full force this year – and with an exciting twist! For the first time in the band’s long and proud career, they will play a ’By Request’ concert where the festival’s audience chooses the setlist: From March 6 until April 6, you will be able to vote for the songs from the band’s impressive catalogue that you think should be among the 16 songs performed during their concert. You can look forward to a COPENHELL exclusive rock blast with one of Denmark’s greatest and most important rock bands ever on a Friday evening where Danish bands will close all the festival’s four music stages!

BAD RELIGION, AGNOSTIC FRONT, DOG EAT DOG play hard and heavy music with a punk vibe, while DEATH TO ALL and SACRED REICH serve up old school thrash and death, and REDWOOD HILL and NYREDOLK deliver dirty black metal. CHELSEA GRIN, SOEN, WITHERING SURFACE, THE RAVEN AGE, SØREN ANDERSEN, SVARTSOT, GHOST IRIS, THUNDERMOTHER, IVY CROWN, LIFESICK and NERVED will take us through everything from deathcore and progressive metal to hard rock and folk metal.
