Camila Cabello and Black Eyed Peas to play the World Stage at Rock in Rio Lisboa!

The festival’s soundtrack wins two new protagonists, who play the World Stage on 20th June: CAMILA CABELLO and BLACK EYED PEAS.

The Cuban artist, responsible for the “Havana” and “Señorita” phenomena, chooses Rock City for her debut in Portugal, and the American group returns to the festival after a sweeping concert at this year’s edition in Brazil.

As part of world music history, the BLACK EYED PEAS have 27 years of career, seven original albums, over 76 million copies sold worldwide and 87 awards, including six Grammys and eight American Music Awards. Authors of timeless hits such as “Where’s the Love?”, “Let’s Get It Started,” “Pump It,” and “I Gotta Feeling,” mix in their hip-hop, R&B, and electronic rhythms. In 2020, the band returns to the Rock City after having attended the first Portuguese edition of the festival, in 2004, for a concert full of energy and revival, similar to what they did in this year’s edition of Rock in Rio, in Brazil. – voted by the public as one of the best musical moments.

On the same day, on June 20, Lisbon receives for the first time Cubana singer CAMILA CABELLO. With two albums edited – Camila (2018) and Romance (2019) – the artist has already won a legion of fans who carefully follow the career of the young performer all over the world. With multiple platinum records and three-time Grammy nominations, CAMILA has already won two Latin Grammy Awards with the song “Mi Persona Favorita”, which sings with Spanish Alejandro Sanz. As lead singer, he already has several hit singles such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes, “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly, “Crying in the Club”, “Havana” with Young Thug or “Sangria Wine” featuring Pharrell Williams. “Señorita”, a theme that joins the female voice with Shawn Mendes, has become a true phenomenon of the music scene this year.
