The cornerstone of Britpop’s golden age in the 1990s, SUEDE (UK) has confirmed its arrival at the Qstock Festival in Oulu this summer!

SUEDE came to the attention of the general public with the single Animal Nitrate and the subsequent SUEDE album in 1993. After a decade of success, the band quit but hinted that they would return later. The time to return was finally in 2010. The well-received eighth album The Blue Hour was released two and a half years ago.

Qstock’s other new additions include APOCALYPTICA, LOST SOCIETY, JESSE MARKIN, YEBOYAH, WHORE and HUMAVOID. FERNET UNDERGROUND, MIKKO ILMARI, AFTEREGO, UUSI RAKKAUS, JOKRATES, YOKI, TANELI REPONEN BAND and VELVET OCEAN will perform on the Oulu stage showcasing local talents.

With the lifting of restrictions and the progress of vaccinations, we are in a situation where it will be very likely that Qstock will be organized this summer. The pandemic has brought some new challenges to various areas, but arrangements are progressing on schedule. The finished program will be published here in early June
