Saturday at Bergenfest is getting better. Last week, we revealed that PATTI SMITH and LEWIS CAPALDI are playing on the last day of the festival in 2019. Today it is clear that we one of the rock’s biggest players and most important and most recognisable voices – ROBERT PLANT!

Also joining the 2019 line up are KURT VILE & THE VIOLATORS, THE TALLEST MAN ON EARTH, JOHN GRANT and JULIA HOLTER!

Since the solo debut in 2008, KURT VILE has made career as one of the rock’s most captivating guitarists, front figures and songwriters. He was one of the founders of The War On Drugs and, as soloist, has collaborated with artists like Courtney Barnett, Cyndi Lauper, Kim Gordon, John Cale and Warpaint.

With his melodious and poetic indie folk, enriched by his ragged and always passionate voice, THE TALLEST MAN ON EARTH has been an audience favorite with a growing international audience since the 2006 debut.

On his new album, ‘Love is Magic’, JOHN GRANT takes us on something genuinely uplifting and definitely moving – for the fourth time on a solo album.
