Aerosmith celebrate 50 years in Italy at iDays Festival

The most famous American rock band of all time returns to Europe after success of residency in Las Vegas “Deuces are Wild”

American band AEROSMITH, 4 times winner of the GRAMMY AWARDS, have announced the dates of their new European tour that will start next year right from Italy. The group will perform, on Saturday 13th June at I-DAYS MILANO 2020, which will be held at the MIND Milano Innovation District (expo area).

AEROSMITH is one of the greatest American bands ever. The group, consisting of Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums), has sold over 150 million records worldwide, won one a myriad of awards and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, after a stellar career that began 50 years ago.

The band won 4 GRAMMY AWARDS, 8 American Music Awards, 6 Billboard Awards, 12 MTV Video Music Awards and 1 Soul Train Award for Best Single Rap in the RUN DMC remix of “Walk this Way”.

In January AEROSMITH will be honored by the Recording Academy with the prestigious MusiCares Person of the Year award. Among multi-platinum records and stellar hits, AEROSMITH continue to inspire entire generations and remain one of the most followed and loved bands of all time!

In 2020 they will celebrate 50 years of career with their new tour, which comes after the incredible success of the residency in Las Vegas, AEROSMITH: DEUCES ARE WILD, which began last April 6th and will end on June 4th 2020. The over 50 dates of which comprises the residency at Park MGM have led the band to occupy the top of the Billboard best box rankings and position No. 2 in that of Hot Tours.

The great influence that AEROSMITH has had in rock music and in the world music industry is undeniable. The group climbed the charts and broke many records: that of having placed nine singles at #1 in the Mainstream Rock Tracks ranking and that of being the only rock band to have debuted on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with the song “I Don ‘ t Want to Miss a Thing ”. They are also the American group to have won more ORO certifications with their usual records, to have obtained more certifications in general (gold, platinum and multi-platinum together) and with Van Halen are the US group with more multi-platinum albums.
