Chrissie Hynde’s intense and rebellious style has inspired many and today she is often hailed for having paved the way for many other female musicians. In 2016, THE PRETENDERS released the album “Alone” (produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys) and guests of the Jelling Music Festival as part of a major European tour.

Thus, the last years Tønder Festival laid down with their very special mix of 60’s pop, blues, country and Mexican folk music.
