For WITHIN TEMPTATION it all started in 1996 and just two years later they made their Graspop Metal Meeting debut!  And they are back in 2019 with their 8th appearance to headline the festival that takes place in Dessel, Belgium on the 21st – 23rd June.

Fronted by Sharon den Adel, one of metal’s leading ladies, this Dutch symphonic metal band is known for its theatrical stage shows.

Released early 2014, their most recent album ‘Hydra’ continues where the previous albums left off: solid metal with pop/rock influences, operatic vocals, churning riffs and catchy choruses. Like the mythological seven-headed monster, the album showcases the many facets of their music. Within Temptation has also helped pave the way to a larger audience for other melodic metal bands by appearing at mainstream festivals all over Europe.

Their latest brainchild ‘Resist’ dropped in December of last year, after the longest dry spell the fans have had to endure so far. This summer they’ll get to hear the new stuff live when WITHIN TEMPTATION takes Graspop Metal Meeting by storm!
