Wacken Day 7 – Thrash, Hardcore and Country Rock

With Battle Beast we already had a former Metal Battle winner yesterday – with CRISIX we have a second one today! The Spanish Thrash monsters will turn the field to the left next year at our Wasted Wednesday.

Spanish Thrash metal champions CRISIX released their last album Against the odds this April via Listenable records and toured all year starting with sold out Full metal cruise, series of headlining shows across Europe, summer festivals as Hellfest, Alcatraz, Download, CMOA, Rude, Mise Open Air, Kutten Fest, Metal Scar, Full metal Holiday,… and played shows as direct support to Body Count.

Their live performance is even more crazy than you know it. The energy is tripling and it shows that Crisix is a non stop recording and touring artist that played hundreds of shows after winning the Wacken prize back in 2009. They keep on thrashing, exchange the instruments, play in the pit and party with the audience, always full of surprises. They will celebrate 10 years of live thrashing madness with special show at W:O:A 2019 bringing a special set of classics.

TAUSEND LÖWEN UNTER FEINDEN play Hardcore with German lyrics which is not the most common kind of music genre – but damn it, the music pops and the message is fine too.

THE BOSSHOSS have entered our stages four times already, and their country rock always started a huge party for everyone – the chances are good that the show at the W:O:A 2019 will be awesome too. Oh and by the way: Happy birthday Sascha, all the best for your 47th birthday!
