TAYLOR SWIFT, one of the greatest superstars of our time, has had massive success since she released her self-titled debut album in 2006. In 2020, it is nine years since the superstar visited Norway and it is an honour to announce that she is coming to Oslo Sommertid on the 26th June!
This is one of the wildest things I’ve ever done. Getting Taylor Swift herself to play one of the very few concerts in Scandinavia is a dream come true. She’s going to set fire to Norway’s biggest concert venue, Voldsløkka, and we expect an evening that goes into the history books! It has been nine years since she was in Norway last and since then she has released four albums, delivered a whole slew of hits and won the best awards.

The former country pop star has released seven albums, won several Grammy Awards (including for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album), was named Woman of the Year by Billboard and has over 43 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, she began to show interest in music at the age of nine, with Shania Twain as her greatest inspiration. She was only 14 when she signed a record deal with RCA Records in 2004 and moved with her family to Nashville to focus on the music. Her then signed with Sony / ATV Music Publishing.
The album Fearless was released in November 2008 and certified for gold by the RIAA as early as the first week. The album gained good momentum throughout 2009 and earned several platinum certifications with songs such as “Love Story”, “White Horse”, “You Belong with Me” and “Fifteen”. Her third album Speak Now was released in October 2010 and brought with it another massive success. Hit singles like “Mine” and “Mean” won two Grammy Awards.
With Lover, Taylor Swift once again demonstrates that she is one of the world’s best pop carpenters. And she has a whole career ahead of her to continue to prove it. She is simply “The Man”

Following the 2011 live album, World Tour Live: Speak Now, Swift turned to pop and began working with musicians such as Dan Wilson, Butch Walker and Britney Spears producer Max Martin. This became evident on “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, the first single from the album Red (2012). The album shattered all expectations by selling over a million copies in the first week. A remarkable achievement that was twice as impressive in a time of declining sales.
The single “Shake It Off”, from her fifth album 1989, became number one after its release in 2014. The album was her first official pop album and became her third album selling more than one million copies in the first week.
Reputation was Swift’s latest album for Big Machine. In November 2018, she signed with Universal Music, who distributed her new album under their Republic Records banner. The album Lover was released earlier this year and included the singles “Me!” And “You Need To Calm Down”, both of which were number two on Billboard.
