In 2022, the Beach Riot Fest! was born in Benidorm, a new metal, punk and rock festival in a small format in the legendary Penélope nightclub. It was held on April 9th and hosted some of the best bands in the country: Soziedad Alkoholika, Angelus Apatrida, Niña Coyote Eta Chico Tornado, The Capaces, True Enemy, Rosy Finch and Punko UK.

Following the commitment to parity in its lineup, a fight that organisers want to maintain and improve with each edition, next year they will have some young bands that are beginning to stand out on the circuit, adding one more day to the edition and changing the place of celebration, the KU Nightclub and stands out for its UFO shape.

KU is a Benidorm classic, when it opened in 1969 it was called CAP 3000 and it became one of the biggest nightclubs in Europe where Led Zeppelin played in 1970 and other artists such as James Brown, Slade, Los Angeles or The Foundations. It was a pioneer in nightlife on the Costa Blanca.

This year international music will also play and the first group to be announced from the new lineup is U.K.SUBS, a classic English punk band, formed in 1976, considered the pioneers of Street punk and still active.

The rest of the groups that will make up the lineup are bands that will present their most recent works at the festival without losing their Underground influence.
