This year marks the 23rd year of Fuji Rock Festival! Here is this year’s much awaited first line up announcement!

You can’t talk about either dance music or Fuji Rock without THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS who are returning to Naeba after 8 years armed with a new release in April!

Celebrating their 40th anniversary are THE CURE who are back at Fuji Rock after a 6 year wait! Their last appearance at Fuji Rock in 2013 was an epic 3 hour performance of 36 songs which surely means their performance this summer will be an unforgettable once.

At the top of the world of pop, SIA will be making her first ever appearance in Japan at Fuji Rock Festival! Nominated for 4 Grammy awards in 2014 for her album “1000 Forms of Fear” and another 3 in 2016 for “This Is Acting”, SIA is known for her collaborations with Rihanna and Beyonce among others. The world renowned songstress is coming to Naeba!

This year’s powerful line up isn’t just about the headliners!

America’s Indy Rock MVP: DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, JAMES BLAKE is back after three years and a release in January, six time nominee and two time Grammy winner JASON MRAZ, and the number one DJ MARTIN GARRIX, Radiohead frontman THOM YORKE joins long time producer and collaborator Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri to perform works spanning his solo career!

And don’t miss the first ever performance in Japan of JANELLE MONAE who was nominated for a Grammy straight after debuting at Fuji Rock Festival!

THE LUMINEERS who’s second album released in 2017 reached #1 in the US and UK, KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD who are headlining festival across the world, don’t miss CAKE who’s last appearance at the festival at the White Stage in 2011 is still talked about, TORO Y MOI who evolves with their every release, up and coming R&B star DANIEL CAESAR, bagpipe band from Scotland RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS, AMERICAN FOOTBALL, CALPURNIA, GARY CLARK JR., NICOLA CRUZ, SHAME, STELLA DONNELLY and YAEJI are just some of the artists from around the world making their way to Naeba this summer!
