Sweden’s Åre Sessions is back for a fourth edition in 2020

In 2017, 2018 and 2019 was a party – 2020 back for Åre Sessions fourth edition! Homegrown favorite MIRIAM BRYANT, internationally acclaimed band DUNGEN, hyped BAD GYAL (ESP) and house DJ FOLAMOR (FR) will be the first artists to be released for next year’s festival. New for this year is also that Åre Sessions, which in 2020 coincides with Valborg, will be a four-day festival, April 30-May 3, 2020. Make arrangements!

Since 2017, organisers have had the great honor of being part of the season-ending weekend in Åre. With the swing space that the visitors get a festival ticket on the purchase of the lift ticket, during the previous editions it has attracted around 10,000 festival visitors each year.

So from April 30th to May 3rd, the festival is back in Åre village for the fourth edition, and new for this year is that it will for the first time be a four-day festival, Thursday to Sunday. The majority of the concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday just as before – but more activities and concert performances will start and end the festival on Thursday and Sunday. With this we hope to extend and enhance the experience in Åre. Let’s face it, it takes at least four days to experience everything the village has to offer.

In this year’s first artist release, we present one of the country’s most prominent artists – MIRIAM BRYANT – who with new music becomes one of the festival’s obvious headliners. Last week it was also clear that MIRIAM BRYANT will be one of the Music Aid’s program leaders.

As in previous years, the festival has also succeeded in attracting international star gloss to the Jutland mountains, this time in the form of Spanish rapper BAD GYAL and French party guarantee in the DJ FOLAMOR. The internationally acclaimed band DUNGEN also makes one of its few Swedish appearances at Åre Sessions 2020.

As in previous years, the festival’s biggest scenes will be Holiday Club in the evening and Timmerstugan in the daytime. But even in terms of places, some news is expected this year, all venues will be presented on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Stay tuned!

This year too, the music program will be joined by an activity program, where we will offer the opportunity to take part in guided summit tours, ski school, yoga, Breakfast Talks, outdoor lounges and happenings in the park. In other words: mandatory attendance in Åre last weekend in April!
