Sum 41 join The Cure at Firenze Rock Festival in 2019

Firenze Rocks continues to surprise by unveiling the names of international superstars who will be on stage at the Visarno Arena in Florence in June – Canadian punk rockers SUM 41 will play before THE CURE on the last day of the festival, Sunday, June 16th.

The band formed by Deryck Whibley, Dave Brownsound, Tom Thacker, Cone McCaslin and Frank Zummo returns with an album, “13 Voices”, which marks a real rebirth. The three singles from the album, “War”, “Fake My Own Death” and “God Save Us All (Death to POP)” are the clear and decisive signal of the return in style of SUM 41, again with the unmistakable sound that made them one of the most famous punk rock bands in the world.

Taking place from the 13th to 16th June 2019 at the Visarno Arena in Florence, the festival, now in its third edition, is preparing to repeat the success of previous years that have seen more than 350,000 spectators come from all over the world and brought on stage the stars of the Guns ‘N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden and System of A Down.

At this edition, TOOL and THE SMASHING PUMPKINS will be on stage on June 13th, ED SHEERAN on the 14th and THE CURE on the 16th.
