Today we can announce SUIDAKRA, VELVET VIPER and MANTICORA who will play next summers Wacken Open Air festival!

Oh boy, time does fly. Has it really been six years since we last welcomed SUIDAKRA here at W:O:A? Doesn’t matter anyways, because we are more than happy to welcome these germans back for their seventh performance altogether. Their mix of Melodic Death and celtic influences is guaranteed to make any head bang.

Jutta Weinhold already wrote german metal history with Zed Yago but now she’s more than ready to add at least another chapter! After a break of 25 years the legendary singer resurrected her other band VELVET VIPER, that will rock Wacken with their traditional flavored Heavy Metal. Which is not to be confused with old fashioned, by the way.

After melting our collective faces off back in 2012 we are more than happy to welcome MANTICORA back at Wacken. This year critics and fans went crazy about their new album „To Kill to Live to Kill“, and if you like your Power Metal with a touch of Prog you should not miss this danish dynamite.
