The electronic rock band, SOULWAX is a long standing project of the brothers Stephen and David Dewaele. Together with bassist Stefaan Van Leuven and drummer Piet Dierickx, the quartet formed in Ghent, Belgium, and in 1996 released the debut album Leave the Story Untold.

The year 1998 was marked by the release of the second album Much Against Everyone’s Advice and a change in the career path of the Dewaele brothers, the focus was on 2manydjs. Thanks to the creative freedom achieved, their themes have become increasingly popular and the release of new albums and remixes that are increasingly captivating has turned them into a cult hit. The ambitious electronic rock band has also joined artists such as LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip and MGMT.
