Barn on the Farm is very pleased to announce three headliners and the first wave of artists for its 10th anniversary this July – Confirmed headliners for 2019 are SAM FENDER, LEWIS CAPALDI and MAGGIE ROGERS.
This year is our 10th birthday, and being such a landmark, we want to ensure we’re focussed on why we began this event in the first place. So, with that in mind, we’re back to breaking new music and with 3 of the very best new artists headlining it’s set to be our biggest yet. In true Barn on the Farm form there will be plenty of surprises along the way too, so hold tight!

SAM FENDER is set for a supersonic 2019. The winner of the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award is one of the hottest names in the music industry and beyond; his UK tour is now sold out and he’ll shortly be heading across the Atlantic for his first North American shows, with slots at SXSW in Texas, and headline dates in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.
He is currently in the studio recording his debut album for release later this year through Polydor Records.
Scottish singer/songwriter LEWIS CAPALDI began creating a buzz in early 2017 with the release of his brooding debut single, “Bruises,” a track that introduced his intimate piano and vocal sound. On the back of this single, the Bathgate native sold out legendary Glasgow club King Tut’s and amassed millions of streams before releasing his follow-up single, the equally unadorned, “Lost on You,” later that summer. After signing with Virgin Records, he included both songs on his debut EP, “Bloom.”
This year he reached an astonishing # 3 in the charts with “Someone You Loved,” a partnership with Live Life Give Life, the organ donation charity. Former Dr Who actor and distant relative Peter Capaldi features in the video.
Lewis has been named the winner of MTV PUSH: Ones to Watch 2019 and was also shortlisted for the BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice. His eagerly awaited debut album “Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent” is out May 17th.
Maryland’s MAGGIE ROGERS takes the third headliner slot at Barn on the Farm, one of only two festival appearances by her in the UK this year. She has already sold out her UK tour, including a date at Brixton Academy.
It is well-documented that in 2016 MAGGIE ROGERS played her song “Alaska” to Pharrell Williams at an NYU undergraduate seminar. His enthusiastic reaction to the performance went viral, resulting in a major-label deal, an EP and a sold-out headlining tour all within a year of graduation. Maggie’s current debut album, “Heard It In A Past Life,” is an electro-folk collection of self-searching moments, encapsulating her wonderfully unique and earthy style.
They will be joined by JADE BIRD, GRACE CARTER, SAMM HENSHAW, BENJAMIN FRANCIS LEFTWICH, MAISIE PETERS, EASY LIFE, CAVETOWN, FLYTE, LILY MOORE, LAUREN AQUILINA, APRE, CASSIA, THE HOWL & THE HUM, RHYS LEWIS, JC STEWART, VISTAS, DELILAH MONTAGU, KAWALA, EMILY BURNS, MILLIE TURNER, ONLY THE POETS, SAM JOHNSON, SUN SILVA, HOLLY HUMBERSTONE, AARON SMITH, MICHAELA with many more still to be announced.
This year Barn on the Farm celebrates its 10th anniversary and in an auspicious start to the new season was recipient of the ‘Grassroots Festival Award’ at the UK Festival Awards 2018.
