RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are the big confirmation for the first day, 6th July of NOS Alive’23, with a performance scheduled on the NOS Stage of the 15th edition of the festival. This is the band’s first time at Passeio Marítimo de Algés.
In 2022, the band released two acclaimed albums Unlimited Love e Return of the Dream Canteen, reaching number one on the Billboard sales chart and standing out as the first rock band in 17 years to achieve this feat. Both albums were produced by long-time collaborator and creative confidant, Rick Rubin.
The iconic band was recently nominated for the GRAMMY® for Best Rock Song with “Black Summer” and received the prestigious Global Icon Award and Best Rock Video award with “Black Summer” at the MTV Video Music Awards. They also received nominations this year at the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Rock and at the American Music Awards forFavorite Rock Artist, Favorite Rock Album for Unlimited Love, and Favorite Rock Single for “Black Summer”.
