Red Hot Chili Peppers to play exclusive Italian show at Firenze Rocks 2020

Firenze Rocks is preparing to return in 2020! After the announcement of GREEN DAY and WEEZER, the Florentine festival – produced and organised by Live Nation Italia in collaboration with Le Nozze di Figaro – hosts another iconic band: the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS will indeed be the headliners of the day of June 13th 2020 at the Visarno Arena!

5 years after the release of I’m With You, which reached # 1 in 18 countries, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS‘ latest album The Getaway (Warner Music) is the band’s sixth debut in the ARIA charts ( GOLD certificate in Italy). The other records of the group to debut at the top were: Stadium Arcadium (2006), ORO certified in Italy, By The Way (2002), Californication (1999) PLATINO certificate in Italy, One Hot Minute (1995) and Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1992) certified GOLD, remained in the history of music and ranked by Rolling Stone among the 20 best records ever made in the 90s.

The band – formed by singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer – has sold over 60 million records and won 6 Grammy Awards. The group entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012. On March 15th the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS performed a spectacular concert in Egypt in the incredible scenery of the Pyramids of Giza, thrilling the fans who came to see the monumental show under the stars.
