Queens of the Stone Age confirmed for NOS Alive 2023

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE are confirmed to perform at the NOS Stage at the 15th edition of NOS Alive, on July 8th!

Queens Of The Stone Age (1998) the homonymous debut album of the band was recorded with former members of Homme’s previous band, Alfredo Hernandez on drums and Josh Homme himself on all other instruments. Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan joined as additional vocalists for Rated R. The album became a commercial and critically acclaimed success, from which came the thunderous debut single “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret”.

Songs for the Deaf released in 2002 received critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters participated as a drummer. This was followed by the albums Lullabies to Paralyze in 2005 and Era Vulgaris in 2007 with an electronic influence. Years later came, Like Clockwork (2013) and Villains (2017) with Mark Ronson as producer, which were also well-received by critics.

John Homme’s band QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE has a career spanning over twenty years and will be at Passeio Marítimo de Algés in July. They have just released three of their albums in a limited vinyl reissue: the eponymous debut album, Like Clockwork and Villains, deluxe reissues for their legion of fans.

The band has been nominated for the GRAMMYs® 7 times: four for Best Hard Rock Performance, two for Best Rock Album, and one for Best Rock Performance.

The band promises an epic and explosive concert at the NOS Stage on July 8th at the 15th edition of NOS Alive!
