As summer grows evermore near and the Forest Family begins preparation for both weekends of adventure ahead in Rothbury, collaboration is key – and with that in mind, these additions to the 2018 lineup seem especially fitting.

We’ll witness the debut of a brand new live band experience with the BOOGIE T.RIO (LIVE BAND)’s first ever performance during the Second Weekend. We’ll host TENNIS JACKET & STAR KITCHEN, new collaborative projects from Marc Brownstein of the Disco Biscuits. Members of Umphrey’s McGee, Thievery Corporation and Digital Tape Machine will come together as SUPERNATURAL BEINGS. Plus, a member of the Forest Family who was moved to Plug In and remix the now infamous Prize Cart theme from 2017 will get his chance to take the stage…

Both weekends will host MT. JOY, DUB TRIO, CHARLESTHEFIRST, KIDSWASTE, PROBCAUSE among others!

Additions to First Weekend include THUNDERCAT, FALCONS, MOUNT KIMBIE, TSURUDA, STICKYBUDS, STAR KITCHEN featuring Marc Brownstein, SUPERNATURAL BEINGS featuring Joel Cummins, Kris Myers, Marcus Rezak, and Hash Vyas, and more.

Second Weekend welcomes BOOGIE T.RIO (LIVE BAND), CLAPTONE, ELDERBROOK, TENNIS JACKET featuring Marc Brownstein and Jeremy Salken, and others, including for the very first time, London jazz veteran and saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings bringing his cosmic jazz trio, THE COMET IS COMING across the pond to Rothbury, MI. In addition to The Comet is Coming, Hutchings will also bring his collaborative UK jazz act, SONS OF KEMET. Don’t miss these jazzy Forest jewels!
