OneRepublic are the first band named for Colors of Ostrava 2023!

The American pop rock band ONEREPUBLIC, led by its charismatic singer, multi-instrumentalist and author of many compositions, Ryan Tedder, won the place of one of the most successful contemporary world bands not only thanks to the hits Secrets, Apologize, Feel Again, Love Runs Out, Counting Stars, Run or Rescue Me.

The band will also come to Ostrava with new musical material – in February of this year, ONEREPUBLIC released the single West Coast for their sixth studio album. Their new song I Ain’t Worried also appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Top Gun: Maverick this year.

ONEREPUBLIC is one of the world’s most successful global bands today. This is evidenced by sold-out stadium tours and billions of plays of their most famous hits. The author behind them is mainly the singer, multi-instrumentalist and charismatic frontman Ryan Tedder.

In addition to his own band, he also composes for Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Paul McCartney, and won three Grammys for producing albums for Adele and Taylor Swift. As evidenced by the track on the soundtrack to Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick, Ryan Tedder is a sought-after composer for films and series.

Since its formation in 2002, the sextet from Colorado has conquered the world with a positive outlook on life, which does not avoid its dark sides, but rather adheres to Tedder’s philosophy.

I think that the instructions for making the world a better place are simple. You have to take care of other people at least as much as you take care of yourself. I believe that empathy and kindness are the two most valuable qualities in the world.

Even with their last album, Human, which was enthusiastically received, OneRepublic gave fans everything they expected: a barrage of pop rock songs about how life is short and because nobody guarantees you another day, you need to get out of the house and enjoy yourself it goes At least until, as ONEREPUBLIC sings in Love Runs Out, we run out of love.
