The French-Congolese rapper NISKA, who has become one of the musical icons of a whole generation, has confirmed his first appearance at the Dour Festival where he will deliver his hits by the score. Londoner JAMES BLAKE, back after 3 years of absence with his new gem “Assume Form” also joins the line-up for an exclusive concert in Belgium this summer. Another new addition, and by no means the least, is the Berlin duo Modeselektor who represent an entire chunk of the history of contemporary electronic music all by themselves. Live this summer at the close of the festival at the Last Arena stage!

Hip hop fans will be delighted by the confirmation of ALKPOTE – a rapper as fascinating as he is outrageous, the return of OXMO PUCCINO – a man of peace with a quiet strength and the appearance of the Atlanta duo EARTHGANG. Not to mention FLOHIO, a hard-hitting and incisive breath of fresh air from the UK, as well as the confirmation of the self-proclaimed ‘Empereur du Sale’ LORENZO and OBOY, the rap game’s new sensation!

Among other confirmed artists on the agenda is the French songwriter YSEULT with her solid gold voice and the young and talented MAHALIA, a rising R’n’B singer from Britain and already a must-see, also join the festival line-up!

On the techno side, the line-up is growing with the arrival of the Italian duo 999999999 (pronounced “Nine Times Nine”), and BEN KLOCK – figurehead of the Berlin scene and well-known resident of Berghain. Our lady THE BLACK MADONNA is back as well as HONEY DIJON – the unmissable DJ, producer and model for unwavering activism! The Ukrainian NASTIA, Dutchman REINIER ZONNEVELD live and TALABOMAN, a duo composed of JOHN TALABOT and AXEL BOMAN, also join the line-up!

Anticipate a drum and bass and jungle tsunami with the return of the BLACK SUN EMPIRE, considered by many to be the spearheads of the hardest, deepest and most experimental drum and bass around; TURNO, one of the best prospects on the English underground scene; BILLX and his sweet 190 bpm ballads and even KINGS OF THE ROLLERS and their screaming old school jungle like you just don’t hear anymore.

From a world where the guitar is king, the pioneers of grimy garage rock BLACK LIPS have been confirmed, as well as FUZZ, a group including the beloved Ty Segall, the guru of the Californian garage scene. Chilean krautrock group FÖLLAKZOID and one of the best French rock bands of the moment, THE PSYCHOTIC MONKS, will also be there!

And that’s just the beginning! See you in the coming weeks for many more confirmed artists.
