A BERRI TXARRAK, and now 13 new national bands that make up the national poster of this third edition of Download Festival Madrid.
Madrid’s TOUNDRA started their journey in 2007 and today they are one of the most applauded instrumental bands in Europe. We can enjoy the group’s impeccable live show, which will defend their last successful album, Vortex.
Considered one of the most recognised young groove metal bands on the national scene, VITA IMANA will present what will be its next album, BOSA. After touring around the world, the Galician female duo BALA will bring its most rock sound of the 90s, mixed with influences of grunge and punk.
THE WIZARDS published according to MondoSonoro the best national metal album of 2018 with its Rise of the Serpent. This year they will be part of the Download Festival Madrid poster. The Madrid band CANNIBAL GRANDPA will also be one of the highlights of this edition, after having burst onto the international scene within the Underground panorama.
Cataloged as a perfect mix between the sinister and the cotton candy, MEGARA will offer a novel show inspired by Alice in Wonderland from the hand of her latest work, Here We Are All Crazy. THE HOLOCAUST ALTAR will wrap everyone present with their peculiar atmospheric sound with their fourth new album, IT.
ÀNTEROS, for its part, post-hardcore quintet from Barcelona, will present their CD Celestes live, demonstrating the quality and forcefulness of their compositions. GRAVEYARD will also provide theirs by demonstrating that they are one of the death metal bands referring both to national and European level; in the same way that BONES OF MINERVA will defend their successful only work to date, Blue Montains. The post-metal trio LE TEMPS DU LOUP began its journey in Madrid in 2011 and this year will give the first jump to Europe, without forgetting Download Festival Madrid first.
Finally, we can also enjoy WALKING WITH WOLVES with their debut album, Parallels, and the metalcore and melodic death of HIRANYA.
