The weekend of 28-29 June 2019 will welcome the international music festival Lollapalooza to Sweden. Stockholm becomes the third European city, after Berlin and Paris to arrange the iconic festival that is now spread across three continents and attracts more than a million visits worldwide. Lollapalooza Stockholm will take place at Gärdet in central Stockholm.
Stockholm becomes part of the exclusive world-metropolis, which hosts the global music festival Lollapalooza. For two days in June 2019, Lollapalooza Stockholm will take place with four stages filled with some of the world’s heaviest artists and the hottest new names in everything from rock to hip-hop and electronic dance music.
Lollapalooza festivals around the world have featured bands and artists like The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Pearl Jam, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, Eminem and Lady Gaga. In addition to a full-featured musical program, the area will be filled with an innovative range of food and beverage, art and much more.
Lollapalooza was founded in 1991 as a touring festival, it found its home in Chicago in 2005 and has since grown and developed into an international affair expanded through São Paolo, Buenos Aires and Santiago in South America to Berlin and Paris in Europe. Stockholm will be the seventh addition to the global Lollapalooza family.
The full artist program will be presented before the end of the year and when the tickets to Lollapalooza Stockholm 2019 will be released.
The historic Gärdet and the iconic festival Lollapalooza are the perfect match. For decades we have been wanting to do a really big festival in Stockholm and we are very honored and excited to do this together with Charles Attal and his team at C3 Presents.
